Pro Red Code and KGut.

I just threw this in my Ncode6.1 95, 16x18 with the Pro Red Code in the mains and Kgut in the crosses. It works pretty well. I strung it at 62 but that was waaaaaaay too tight. So I just step on the strings a little to lower the tension and after that It was nice. It had good pop, good control. It wasn't as much feel as my Big Banger ALU power and Big Banger Ace combo but not too much lost. I think once the tension goes down a little more it will play better. I was surprised it didn't break in 3 hours of hard hard hitting and lots of banging balls. It held up quite nicely. It wasn't a great hitting day for me so I will update it tomorrow.

Nice set up. I would also suggest using Spiral flex crosses. I actually got with 56m and 58c tensions and it is really nice.

I've tried spiral flex as a full job and it's pretty dead feeling. It is ok as a cross but there are better options out there.

Cheers,

I wouldn't use the stepping technique again. A new string job costs less than a new racquet. but i guess you could use a new racquet if you're still playing with the n95.

It actually doesn't hurt the racket cause I'm not putting all my weight onto the racket just a little bit. AND WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING HOMIE? the n95 is a godly racket, it's an awesome racket.

Okay. So I went out and hit with this last night after let it sit a day cause I was busy friday and saturday and its amazing. It's a the perfect tension now. It was great to hit with. Great spin potential, and the control was great. The best part was that I was able to hit out on this string and was able to rally without the fear of it breaking in ten minutes. The k-gut has started to fray a little in the sweetspot where I hit most of my balls but it's had better durablity then my luxilon string job. I may have finally found a string to stick with unless I'm swayed by Big Ace by Pro Supex or Blue gear but this looks like the way to go.
