Pro's pro TX-700's Universal clamps won't be high enough

Hi everybody,

I've just bought Pro's pro TX-700 and I'm setting it up for my first stringing. The problem is that the universal clamps are too low to get the string, and if I take the string down to the clamps then it's not tensed... I can't figure out how to set the universal clamps high and tight them in level with the racket. Anybody that owns this stringing machine knows?

stretch the springs that are on the clamp holder that is between the clamps ,that should push the clamps up a bit.
