I'm looking for any and all feedback on the play of this racket. I'm undecided between this and the PS ROK

I have used this racquet for a few years. I recently upgraded to the new Ncode Surge.
I would say this summarize my feelings on the racquet.

A comfortable, maneuverable racquet offering a good balance between control and power for intermediate to advanced all-court players.

Pros - solid feel
high control with moderate power
good spin potential

Cons - big servers might crave more thump

If interested, I have (2) Surge 5.1's for sale or possibly trade.

One doesn't often see the Surge described as comfortable. You'll find old posts in the archives about arm pain -- I also found it painful to use.

Great racquet. Not painful if you use its stock grip -- Wilson TL Gel, which cushions well and help against the shock. Less cushioned grips might give your arm fits.

ROK is in a completely separate category. It's smaller, denser, lower powered, and heavier. I would think it's pretty easy to chose one or the other without much difficulty.

I also play with the Surge but often alternate with heavier "player" style racquets. I enjoy trying other racquets (and own several) but when I have to WIN a match I always come back to the Surge.

I use it because it gives me extra power. Granted, I have to add more top-spin to my game when using it but I find it easy to adjust to that.

I would not call it "comfortable" but it is better than some. I don't have any trouble generating pace on my serves in fact, I think it is a good serving racquet.
