Can this friend of your let you try it out before you buy it? That's really the only way you'll know whether you've got a frame that's a good fit for your game.
It's a middle-weight racquet with some extra stiffness, so it can knock the cover off the ball and also churn out some decent spin, but if you're already rather strong, it might be too lively for you. I've seen a couple of high school kids sort of grow out of those frames as their skills and technique have advanced, but LOTS of players of all levels have had great success with these racquets, too.
If you take the plunge with this frame, I only caution you against stringing it with a poly to get more control out of it. Try synthetic guts or snug multifiber options first. The combo of a stiff racquet with especially stiff string like poly can put you right in the crosshairs for elbow irritation, so avoid that setup if you can.
