Hi, would need your advice. Coming from a pure drive 2015, which racket is better? Pro Staff 97 or Pure Strike 16x19? I am looking for control, plow through and precision on ground strokes, volleys and serve. Thank you!

I demoed the Pure Strike and the Pro Staff and went with the Staff. It wasn't even close for me. I wanted to love the Strike cos of the cosmetic (which is completely silly) but it felt horrible on contact with the ball for me. It has a really weird high pitched ding and also felt too light and liable to twisting. I hit an OK ball with it on groundies but when it came to serving I just couldn't get anything going at all. The Pro Staff is solid in all areas but really shines on serve for me. Even with a little lead at 3 and 9 (I've got it weighed up to about 12 oz even) it's easy to whip into the ball and either generate pace or good kick. I've been using it for about a year now (after being a chronic switcher for ages) and I don't think I'll be changing again for a long long time. Hope this helps.

Based on your listed needs, the strike. Pro staff is more open and gives more spin and a higher launch angle but can be a little tough to control at times.

However, i personally prefer the pro staff due to the spin potential and depth on shots. I hit short and low with the strikes tight string pattern.
