Putting a finer point on how the ATP calendar favors Rafa and hurts Fed

Then stop Giving two fecks about a tournament which you have won a gazillion times... Barcelona at least always has a high level of competition, and is a tune up for the French

This particular claim is getting too deep into the weeds. The calendar favors Djokovic most of the big three, because most events are played on hard courts that are fairly slow ones. It favors Nadal more than Federer, because the clay portion of the season is longer than the grass one, because the hard courts are generally more to Nadal's liking than Federer, and because there are not that many indoor tournaments and no carpet ones. But it favors Djokovic more than Nadal.

Federer fans now embarrassing themselves in their desperation as his records start to come under increasing pressure.

Sad to see. Just enjoy him while he's still here!

This guy’s posts annoy me generally but occasionally he will make a good point. And here is one.

Total BS. The Fed loss apologists dialogue is ridiculous. He never had issues playing Basal, WTF, or any number of full schedules, but he makes a less-than-Federer like run at the WTF and it’s turning a blind eye to the actual reason by throwing out crap like this. The commentary in many Fed matches is “uncharacteristic errors” and it is coming more and more across events. It happens with everyone as they age. That is the true story. Even Nadal is getting that same commentary more often.

Scheduling...what a joke.

This tennis "fan" though

Although I do agree with the fact that this thread is pretty nonsense.

I've only just started reading this account so I'm not sure whether he's a Fedfan or not. He was drooling over Djok a few days ago so I dunno.

I never even think about these things. But whether it was an accident or not, it's obvious now that the way the tour calendar is constructed has benefited one player—Nadal—more than anyone else.

He managed to end the year as the #1 player while taking exactly one set off Fedalovic at non-RG Slams. Seems weird to me, no?
