Question for Big 3 fans, who are you going to champion after the Big 3 retire?

I can't grow up a second time so these players are not going to resonate with me like players I grew up with could and did.
I love all your posts but this sentence hit me hard. feel so sorry Delpo because of his injuries. what ifs.). I grew up with this gen and spent so many years with them and I'm being emotionally drained. I wanted it all of course. When I see what's happening to "my" Rafa now I feel bad. I'm kind of done and to be honest I'd not spend the nights to see who won, would check out :) But tik-tok insta gen z players are not my thing. Of course the biggest part is their game. They couldn't make it against the big 3.
I know close to nothing about many sports including basketball but I know Michael Jordan. Same goes for F1, golf.
Tennis has a big image and $ problem because people watched and spent money due to the big 3 being there. All media coverage, legends. Brands. Now I don't see anyone who could do that.

Here’s how often I’ll root for each prominent nextgenner:

Zverev: until December, always; after that, never
Tsitsipas: almost never
Medvedev: most of the time
Berrettini: most of the time, but no vested interest
Rublev: meh, I won’t care too much
Shapovalov: depends on the opponent
Sinner: most of the time
FAA: meh

Most of my life, I’ve been an avid fan of tennis without really being a huge fan of any player. I just want to see good tennis being played and generally support the player who subjectively seems to be playing at a higher level as deserving of winning the match. The only exceptions are McEnroe in the late Seventies (before I became a teen and realized what a jerk he was), Sampras for almost his entire career (what a gentleman) and Djokovic on-and-off for about six years since 2015 (when he is not breaking racquets or spouting anti-science idiocy).

I think Sampras and Djokovic impressed me as being the best players I‘ve ever watched in person at that time and so, I was supportive of them breaking all the records that matter. I can see myself watching tennis without supporting anyone for a few years unless a true prodigy comes along who is better than Djokovic’s best level.

I may root for Thiem and Tsitsi since their playstyles are the only ones I enjoy. But they have to sort out all their issues.

I'd be neutral on the rest.

Why wait until they retire, start now. Med all the way.

After the GOAT wars are over, my work in this world will be truly done and I can leave this world a greater place than I found it.

I'm interested to see who you'll guys follow or really get behind after the Big 3 retire

I'm sure not all Federer/Nadal/Djokovic fans will follow the same path

For me I'm Medvedev, Felix and Sinner

anti- Tsitsipas and Zverev

Tbh I've lost interest in tennis in the last few years. I enjoy playing but watching someone like Roger was so exciting. Seeing someone do things on a court that the average human and even elite players can't, is such a thrill. Unfortunately, my interest faded with his skills and now I don't get the same excitement or passion to watch. If another one hander phenom comes around, I might take interest but so far, I find myself nostalgic for the 90s and 2000s tennis era

I am a fanatic from Serbia who obviously roots for Djokovic, but I'm gonna try to become obsessed with Sinner to prove how much I love tennis.
Why don't you admit that you don't like tennis instead of being sarcastic? it's not bad, I don't like many sports, it's not wrong at all.

I like many of the young guns actually. I'll have no problem finding someone or some players to root for among the new gen.
