questions about nike's 6-month guarantee

I've been wearing my nike air max breathe cage's since the beginning of the summer. I love the shoes- they fit well, have great traction, and are all around a very nice shoe. But i just noticed today that both shoes are breaking. they both have tears around the thick swoosh symbol on the outside of the shoe, where the swoosh meets a 'cage' part of the shoe near the toe. the fabric in between the cage and the swoosh is completely torn. A little tear isnt so bad, but these shoes are torn all the way. the thin fabric between the cages is completely ripped and i can fit my index finger in the hole. I like these shoes, and I'm pretty disappointed that nike's durability shoe has broken after about 2 months of use on har-tru court.

will nike help me out or not? im pretty sure this does not count as the "outsole" of the shoe. is there a site or a number i can use to find out more about their guarantee, and if i can get these shoes fixed/replaced, or if i can get a discount on a new pair? thanks for your help in advance

I've heard that Nike is pretty good about replacing shoes but with that said most shoe guarantees are VERY strick that it must be the outsole. I'd wear them until you can't play in them anymore and call Nike or email them some pictures. Hopefully they'll replace them for you.
