Racquet Bag Recommendation

As the title says, I'm looking to buy a racquet bag. I typically only carry 2 racquets with me, at the most 3. I would like to carry them in separate compartments though so they don't get dinged up during transport. What I find odd when I look at the bags on TW is while the 6 pack bags usually have 2 racquet compartments and maybe an additional slim accessories compartment on the side, I don't understand where people carry their water bottles.

I use refillable water bottles that might leak a bit if on their sides, but at a minimum will "sweat" from the ice inside, so I would like a medium small sized compartment where I can put up to 3 drink bottles (at least 2) where they will likely stay upright and not sweat on my racquets.

I see shoe compartments, but they are often on the bottom, but I don't see drink compartments. Surely I'm not the only one that brings drinks to the court! It seems like it would be easy to incorporate this either in between the 2 compartments or on one end. So any suggestions?

Oh, and I don't need backpack straps...I'm not hiking a trail or riding a bike to the courts, just carrying stuff from my house to the car and from my car to the courts. Other stuff in my bag: Tennis balls, small towel, sweat bands, extra socks, extra over grip, bottle of Prince grip stuff and a few other small items.

EDIT: Yonex seems to have pretty close to what I'm looking for except they have backpack straps on the bottom that are always exposed. They can't be removed or tucked away.

Well, after looking around some more I'm thinking maybe a backpack bag might fill the bill (as opposed to the other style bag that they throw backpackstraps on...which seem like they would just be in the way). I can just throw one strap over my shoulder and when I set it down the pockets are vertical.

Anyone have the Pacific Team Line Back Pack (or the Pacific X Force Back Pack...looks identical); it looks very well thought out w/ locations for cell phone, keys and two options for water bottles. The price is good as well.

This Prince might work too, but there is no video...any info on the pockets in this one?

My only concern is can you really fit 2 racquets in these? Can one of them be in its mfg. racquet case, to keep the two racquets from dinging each other, and still fit in the one racquet compartment of the backpack?

From what I read (because I am looking to get a bag myself), a 6 racquet bag is nice if you are carrying 3 racquets because it allows extra room for other things you might want to bring. The way I think is that it is better to have too much space than not enough space. Plus, many larger bags have thermoguard which I feel is a nice plus

Thanks, but where do you keep your water bottles in a 2 compartment 6 pack bag? I don't want moisture getting on my racquets and I'd like my racquets separated.

Anther question. I have one racquet cover that came with my PK Ki5...if I put both my racquets in one of the compartments of say a 6 pack bag, are the compartments typically big enough to put one of my racquets inside its cover before inserting it in the 6 pack bag? If so then I guess that would take care of protecting both racquets' paint.

Putting rackets in the same compartment wont make them scratch eachother. It is also smart to keep them in one pocket because most bags only come with one or two thermo guard or climaxing cool lined pockets., which will help tension maintenance. If anything, it will be the smaller things that are contantly banging against your rackets that will scratch them.

If you are looking for a 6 racket bag then get one from head. Their bags come with a bag for dirty clothes and also a bag for shoes. You can use the bag for dirty clothes to hold your water bottles.

wilson eco tour, head monstercombi, and prince tour team have water bottle compartments.

As do many backpacks.

Alternatively, you could put a water bottle in a large zip lock.

Well after deciding to return my regular luggage travel bag, that has be pulling tennis bag duty for a while now, to its original job before it got ruined I pulled the trigger on a new bag today. With cooler weather coming I wanted something I could put all my tennis junk in...balls, towels, sweat bands, hat, sunglasses, cell phone, wallet, keys, snacks, water bottles, extra socks, change of shirts, of course a few racquets and now a jacket and maybe sweat pants with the weather change.

I went with the Wilson Eco Pro Tour Six mentioned above. For some reason the red & black can be found pretty cheap right now. It appears to have a small outer pocket for wallet, cell and keys as well as several other compartments including one for water bottles from what I've read. So thanks for the suggestion.
