Racquet weight question

I currently have two racquets
-racquet one 11.3 ounces 5pt headlight swingweight of 325
-racquet two 11.1 ounces (10.9 plus a little lead tape at 3 and 6)
2pt headlight swingweight of 331

I would think by those specs therewouldn't be much of a difference but when i serve racquet one seems much heavier-i keep serving long because i can't snap the racquet around quick enough. Any explanations?
Thanks

depends on what racquets. those specs aren't the whole picture... need to consider things like how many strings X by Y, string tension, framesize, etc etc..

also, i would've thought the extra swingweight and less head-lightedness of the second might explain the situation sufficiently anyway..

racquet weight

the question is why does the racquet with the higher swingweight seem lighter than the the one with the lower one?

I used to try and snap the racquet around on serves. You can get away with that on lighter frames, but it really isn't the best technique. Try to put your toss in a spot far enough in front of you so that when you swing the racquet face is just starting to point down into the court. There really isn't a lot of wrist snap in a serve it's more rotation of the forearm and a hammering type motion depending on what type of serves you are trying to hit.

Kevo-I know exactly what you mean, I just learned how to do that recently and my serve is so much better.

Yeah, csb I'm not sure what to say about your question. Where are you getting the swingweight specs from? TW? Can you give us the names of the actual rackets?

Have you weighed the racquet? I realize that the TW spec says it's 11.3 ounces, but that's an average, and the weight can vary. Same goes for the balance and swingweight. Also, do you have any overgrips on the frame? Any vibration dampeners? Do you use poly strings? All of these can also add weight. Keep in mind that if the TT Warrior is within spec, the Vendetta could also be too light (or lighter than you expect).
