in the different versions of top spin (the original versions, xbox, ps2, and pc), did the career modes offer different racquets for purchase over the different versions (i.e., did the ps2 offer different racquets for purchase in career mode than the xbox, etc)
yeah, i'm a topspinaholic.
Since your an expert. I can't seem to do the serve drills. I am currently #2 in career mode but these stupid level 1 serve drills keep me from getting stars.
When I am supposed to hit the back line on serve, no matter what I do, full max on any serve, topspin, flat, slice, or other, I still don't hit the spot except rarely.
Now when I'm competing, I hit it all the time.
How did you do it??????
Perplexed
LOL:grin: very turetopspin 2 is awful. Why should a flat shot be impossible to hit out, and the topspin shot be super risky. Makes no sense.
I know it's crap!Topspin one was the best tennis game out there. I own TP2 and I hate it, they made it incredible stupid with the risk shot configs, and the movement is horrible. I do like the additions of players on TP2 and the different racquets you can buy and clothes but thats it.
yeah, i'm a topspinaholic. You can buy new rackets in the career mode and then change to it by going to the sportbag by pressing start. they have yonex, prince, head, and wilson tennis rackets.
By the way, i bought an XBOX360 just for topspin 2, and it completely sucked. i beat the computer on hard 6-06-06-0. way too easy. could win a grandslam against federer without losing a game. all you have to do in that game is slice the ball deep to win points. Plus the sound effects of the racket hitting the ball sounds like a garbage can lid bang, not like a tennis racket at all. The original Topspin for XBOX actually has better graphics too. Its a better game in my book hands down.
You should buy Virtua Tennis 3 for the Xbox 360, it is a much better game.
