What sort of modifications should one make to the double bend forehand when hitting the return of serve on a fast serve? I assume a shoulder turn and abbreviated backswing. I can’t see starting the racket high at a 45 degree angle facing the back fence like on a regular forehand. Should I attempt to start the forehand return of serve stroke “in the slot” with the racket parallel to the ground with the butt cap towards the net? Hi-techtennis.com used to have examples of return of serves, but it appears that portion of the site is gone. Thanks for the help.
