The kid is still very promising. He's at his highest ever ranking and is ranked higher than any of his fellow juniors. He won a Futures tourney in June, and has other good results this year like wins over Michael Berrer and Taylor Dent. I wonder if he'll be getting a WC into the USO.

he's an excellent player, i watched him destroy philip king in quallies at river oaks last year 'n then he even went on to beat pablo cuevas in straights before falling to james blake, he plays the s+v game too and has that it factor when he plays. I hope to see him at the USO but i doubt he will get a wildcard....

I thought wild-cards didn't have to play qualifying. Are there different kinds of wild-cards that are handed out?
