Safin switch back to straight gut

in that last picture if you look at the top of the grip, you can see the black peice that was on the top of the pallets of prestige classics, not on other models. further proof of the paint job, not that we need any. i wonder why he left it exposed

lol yeah TG is short, but I found myself liking it when I first started, no matter what the size was. I'm going to get some XW (they're not extra long, they're extra wide) next time.

Back on topic, I wonder why he's going for all gut coming into the clay season? Doesn't make sense....most players go for gut coming OUT of the clay season rather than going in....gut is more suited to hardcourt and grass court tennis, while strings like ALu and Original are real clay strings. Lots of spin and control...anyway, its his choice and I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

maybe to get the little more power, obvouisly whatever he does isnt going to be somehting to hurt his game

gstring21, I really "don't" care about what string Safin is using. But maybe if I switch to natural gut I could play like him though? What do you think?

only if you by a pc weight it up to 13.__ ounces, string it up the same, grow to be 6' 4" and 195 and swing like a mofo. then it will. just wondering why you would be happy for him to switch back. are you one of the anti LUX people?

One late night, in an internet cafe, he came across Marius and Michael Chaho' posts about the dangers of luxilon. :mrgreen: Guess he just wants to have a couple of extra good years on tour.
