I'm considering the Hyperion too Jack,....havent used it yet,....but looks popular and good for 'flat' hitters which i am....i think the scorpion is designed especially for spin,...which is not something im particularly looking for. I hope others write with feedback on these strings.
I'm a current Scorpion user( been using it since the beginning of the year ) and I've tried Hyperion 1.18 some times.
Hyperion feels much softer and has a better feel, has more power, yet doesn't have the same control and starts losing tension quicker.
I've been using them in a hybrid( Hyperion 1.18 mains and Scorpion 1.22 crosses ) and it feels great, but the Hyperion started moving after 3hs and went dead.
I've also used Scorpion on mains and Hyperion 1.24 on crosses, it felt good but kinda stiff, had some wrist pain. Gave up on that.
I'll try the new Mosquito Bite, if it doesn't feel good I'll return using Scorpion full.
For me Scorpion offered me better spin, better control, and (if may have been the tension) a slightly softer feel. Can't remember the tension of the Hyperion but it felt a bit dead beside the Scorpion.
Still prefer the TurboTwist 1.24 over both of them.

I can't speak to Hyperion but I just started using Scorpion 1.22 full bed at 57/57 in my Speedport Pro Whites and really dig it. After using several other polys I found this one to have the best mix of power, spin, feel and control so far.
scorpion is soft to me. I don't get arm problems with a full bed. it's also crisper than other polys I have tried. I usually can't get away with a full bed of poly except for scorpion. scorpion is easy on the arm and offers enough pop to use a full bed. I normally need to hybrid polys.
Have you tried polystar energy? I hear good things when it comes to softness. I ordered some and will try it out at around 48#s or so
But sometimes after hitting a few days in a row, afterwards, I will develop a "pulsing" periodic pain in my elbow, which can vary from a slight tingle to a sharp annoying pain.
Those are microtears to the tissues most likely to be around the tendon and subsequent inflamation. You had better be careful with that because the more injury you cause to those tissues, the more susceptible you become to further injury and increased likelihood of acute damage. Tendon injuries are problematic because they take noticeably longer to heal than muscle tears (tendons have about 90% less oxygen uptake, a poorer blood supply, take about 3 months to fully synthetise the necessary amount of collagen for healing etc). I think you're mad to be continuing with poly if you're getting symptoms like that.
