Semi western to eastern

Anybody ever switch to a flatter forehand grip?

Ive hit semi western (or close to it) for about 6 months now. I learned to play with an eastern grip.

I like the semi western but it tends to hurt my forearm. I never had pain with eastern.
Any tips for going back?

I actually started out with a western grip, and tried to go more towards semi-western but i inadvertently switched to an eastern grip. However, i dont know any tips to make switching easier, sorry mate.

i started western and switched to extreem eastern. An easy way to adjust goin back is to just drop balls infront of you and hit them then twirl the racquet in your hand until you end up back at eastern. cause lets face it during a rally when you need to switch grips your going to go back to the one your hands familiar with

I play eastern and the one thing I struggle with is staying consistent in long rallies. It is a grip which lets you hit flat so for a player like me who has only played for about 7 months (2 summers) I usually hit some long. When I try to go for more top spin, there really isnt much pace, but its a solid rally ball.
