Not to point out past history, but I can recall hearing that the Williams sisters received tournament invitations to which they were not otherwise entitled to by their results, due to tournament directors wanting to introduce minority representation. If this is true, then the Williams sisters also benefited by a double standard.

He never had a logical reason for all of his dangerous hatred of a family he will never know. However, all they need to do is have a history of beating his false tennis "gods," and this member goes into stalker mode. If the Williams family (or representatives) ever read this creature's posts, i'm sure they would increase security to avoid a tragic end for the family, as his hatred-filled obsession is anything except normal.

Out of order? What planet are you on? Djokovic's family made negative comments about Federer. Kim's late father once accused Henin of doping. Players have whined about the habits or personalities of other players (ask Agassi about his early years comments about Sampras), and through it all, the world did not have the faux "outrage" did posted here. I do not need to wonder why.
Logically, Oracene owes Kim nothing, and is free to say whatever she desires--within reason (which means it was not in the realm of the incredibly offensive crap spewed by Hingis about Mauresmo, or Hewitt during the USO Blake match). Just as Djokovic's family or Kim's late father did not owe their respective subjects anything. How are you missing this elementary point of reality?

There’s jealousy and bitterness from the WS family. Oracene don’t want Kim to be any more popular. Ever since Kim return to tennis, she made Serena irrelevant. Kim made her name well known in the US(winning USO), of course in Europe, and now in Australia. As evidence yesterday when she(and Li Na) reward us fans for one of the best match in slam final. Plus, Kim outstanding speech during the trophy presentation made me want her to play forever! Screw you Oracene !!

I don't see what the outrage is for. If it truly was a joke, then it's no big deal. I think we all know how sometimes things get misinterpreted as bashing over the internet when it's really meant to be a joke. If it was bashing, then it still shouldn't be Serena or Venus' responsibility what their mother says, and Serena and Kim do seem to have a good relationship - the quotes I posted here earlier where Kim refers to Serena as one of the nicer girls on tour, and the fact that Serena and Kim played the exho in Belgium last year points to that. In any case I think this is much ado about nothing really, and just more reason for some of the usual suspects to bash the WS.

Kim is a solid player to be sure, but your Williams hatred is (again) leading to more posted turds. Kim barely won a single slam in 2010, while SW won two--her AO count moved up to 5, and the Wimbledon count up to 4 titles, thus adding more reasons why she's the most dominant WTA player of the decade...and her career is not over.

Oh, Mother Marjorie recalls the 2007 US Open, when Oracene Price and family took to the press to attack Justine Henin and coach Carlos (the #1 seed and #1 player in the world) upon the eve of both the quarterfinals (vs Serena Williams) and semifinals (vs Venus Williams). Oracene went on a rant about Carlos coaching Justine during matches and Carlos quickly explained to the press that Oracene and family were snipping because they were afraid of Justine. Justine Henin defeated both in straight sets.
Its not uncommon for Oracene to publicly attack other WTA pros who pose a threat to their daughters on-court success, or those who take the storyline away from their dramatic family.
Mother Marjorie is not at all surprised that Oracene is on the attack. She knows that Kim has risen and will likely be the one to ride her daughters into retirement. It will be great to watch!
Oracene, get you a new wig and STFU. You, along with your daughters will soon be irrevelant to the sport of tennis (if you all aren't already).
