Carlos Ramos, he did nothing wrong, just enforcing the rules.
Serena doing what she does best, spoilt brat.
Both Serena and Venus.I see Williams voted.
You don't get it!Carlos Ramos, he did nothing wrong, just enforcing the rules.
This guy gets it.The rules are enforced sporadically, until they're applied evenly every time at every match, there's going to be controversy
Both Serena and Venus.
I see The Williams voted.
And coach Patrick voted too!
Oh yeah?Is the question who would win in a fight? Serena would kick his ass
He is not sporadic in his matches. Quit spreading lies. One should only be concerned with their match at that moment. We don't know if coaching was talked about before hand. You can't tell me their isnt a briefing of some sort in situations of this magnitude. Racing, football, boxing etc all have them in some way. FFS they restructured the time clock to enforce game speed this year. You can't think they are being more lenient now than they might have been. The rules are enforced sporadically, until they're applied evenly every time at every match, there's going to be controversy
Murray would probably beat any other tennis player in a fight, man or womanOh yeah?
Muzz will settle this.
Well said, you are now officially a "sexist"... Welcome to the club!I agree that rules are applied very variably among umps. But this shouldn't be an excuse for any player to throw a major tantrum when they are correclty applied. Especially when it is done by an ump who has a reputation for consistently doing so.
The rules are enforced sporadically, until they're applied evenly every time at every match, there's going to be controversy
Why was he not an option on this poll? I protestFedr

Serena is just not a nice person.
Her lack of restraint, her inability to own her behaviour, her sense of entitlement, her history of an ugly temper when losing, her name calling, her belief that she's somehow above the rules, her willful misunderstanding what it means to defend womens rights, her playing the victim, her unprofessionalism, etc, etc...
This was all exposed clearly years ago when she did the Crip dance on Center Court but no one listened and just thought it was something cute.
Does every person who goes over the speed limit get a ticket? No. Sometimes you get caught sometimes you don't. If you do you accept it and move on with your life and not throw a massive fit then blame some kind of discrimination when you know you broke the rules.
This was all exposed clearly years ago when she did the Crip dance on Center Court but no one listened and just thought it was something cute.
Ah, yes, the gangster dance! And here we are at the source of the fear that haunts the board.
Unfortunately you are 100% right...Serena is just not a nice person.
I think I would have been more angry/disgusted with a man doing that.People really can't take it when a woman acts like a male bully!
Ramos would've done the same thing to Federer, except that Federer would never act like this. She literally threw a tantrum during the US Open final, which should be punished accordingly. Roddick, J Mac and Jimbo are the only men who were (almost) as bad as Serena at times, and they totally deserved to be penalized for it (sometimes they were, sometimes they got away with it).Except cops aren't sitting in a chair behind your vehicle watching you everytime you drive are they? Umpires get a bloody good run, they have accomodation and flights covered and the top Umps like Ramos earn over 100k per year. Even Mariana Alves, one of the worst umpires in the entire world, who chaired the infamous 2004 Capriati-Serena U.S Open match still officiates somehow. I mean if you're in a chair watching a tennis match, and you're getting paid for it, then do your job and do it without fear or favour, unfortunately, he gave a *game penalty in a Slam final* when she called him a thief. Would he have done it to Federer? He'd be out of a job if he did guaranteed.
Actually She...unfortunately, he gave a *game penalty in a Slam final* when she called him a thief. Would he have done it to Federer? He'd be out of a job if he did guaranteed.
I just noticed, all those people you mentioned are Americans.Ramos would've done the same thing to Federer, except that Federer would never act like this. She litterally threw a tantrum during the US Open final, which should be punished accordingly. Roddick, J Mac and Jimbo are the only men who were (almost) as bad as Serena at times, and they totally deserved to be penalized for it.
O my goodness.
Who published that???
Yup!Mark Knight the editorial cartoonist for the Herald Sun, a daily tabloid in Melbourne, Australia
He also did this one
Can’t be because it’s a cartoonist that’s for sure. Like - you know someone who greatly exaggerates people’s facial features, expressions, physicality, because they make ... like... cartoons?? (ever seen a cartoon of Trump - or is it only fair when lampooning people like him?)And who said this had nothing to do with racism?
Look the cartoonist hates men too!!!Mark Knight the editorial cartoonist for the Herald Sun, a daily tabloid in Melbourne, Australia

I thought it was originally about sexism? Or are we changing the narrative now?And who said this had nothing to do with racism?
EXCELLENT!!Caricature:
ˈkerikəCHər, ˈkerikəˌCHo͝or]
NOUN
This seemed to be what the artist was going for. While insensitive, you would need to be inside the artists head to make a definite case for racism. Seems like political cartoonist do this all the time. If it offends people, all the better. Helps sell papers..
- a picture, description, or imitation of a person in which certain striking characteristics are exaggerated in order to create a comic or grotesque effect.
"there are elements of caricature in the portrayal of the hero" ·

But maybe you’re right - Look how handsome that white male ump is drawn!!! He’s an Adonis!!!
