Shoulder Remedies?

Hey everyone!
There had been a couple posts on here my brother had made about his shoulder problems. (BTW, the final diagnosis was a frayed rotator cuff tendon, inflamed bursa, biceps tendonitis and anterior labral laxity due to excess calcification of the joint bones - which altogether give him some nice impingement.) Family and friends have done a lot of research and looking into things to help keep him in the game. After doing a lot of digging myself I have grown curious about some things...

Shoulder problems are obviously very common in tennis, especially among the pros who don't get the chance to rest it much. You hear a lot about pros pulling out because of shoulder pains, tendonitis, etc. Tennis is comparable to other overhead sports like baseball and volleyball in that specific overhead range of motion. Many pro and college athletes of those sports are seen wearing supportive shoulder braces, restrictive shoulder braces, kinesiotape and many other preventative things. Why is this not the case in tennis? I have done a lot of searching and I've yet to see articles/info/pictures of tennis players using braces or taping techniques.

I thought Tennis Magazine ran an article a few months back on pros using kinesio taping. Seems to be pretty popular way to address minor shoulder injuries on the ATP and WTA. A quick search would probably turn up the article.
