In Singapore Aug 1 - 8. I have access to a court in the Orchard Road area.

Singles or doubles anyone?

To give you a sense of my level of play:

You seem to travel around a lot... Pity I was only transitting in Singapore on the 3rd. In Saigon at the moment... So many people here playing tennis! I saw a doubles team playing with a cut out wooden plank and also a padel tennis racquet and they beat the guys with real tennis racquet...crazy.

I haven't been to Bali in zillion years.... Don't know if I will be there again..... Do you go to Downunder sometimes?

Sure. I will let you know. I like your wooden racquet video.

Ps. Saigon is the same as Ho Chi Minh, right? Maybe you meant Hanoi?

Oops! yes. i meant hanoi & ho chi minh.
Really liked them both. Went to various places along the river north of ho chi minh. Held a giant 60+ kg snake. It was pretty strong.

I remember I watched one of your videos, I think it was when you play with a wooden racquet on a clay court if I am not wrong. Is that your clay court in Bali? Looks cool. I should try some wooden racquet and gut string one of these days, must be interesting to try it for the first time.

Whoa I wouldn't dare holding a snake but I have held a baby tiger on my lap while giving it some milk in a dotting bottle,,,,hahaha I couldn't stop laughing as the baby tiger was so focused on the milk and it kept growling like a cat but with maybe 100x bass turned up on the equalizer setting. He was quite heavy too.

Not my clay court. Unfortunately, the court is now closed for the foreseeable future...

I first tried a wood racquet years ago out of curiousity. I actually enjoy hitting with one every once in awhile. Be warned that they are not durable, though. I once played in a wood racquet tournament years ago, and by the end of the tournament the strings had cut thru the wood. probably was a mistake to use 17g synthetic gut. I also don't try to hit as hard anymore when I use my wood racquet.

I will try using some cheap gut the next time I string.

The big snake was a big scary at first but it was a pet and had just been fed so I felt somewhat safe putting it around my neck. It was pretty big, though. Thicker than my legs.
