Serious lack of intensity
Seems to not have the heart for it
I just find it interesting how people come up with their own interpretation of things and speculate as to the reason why it does not meet their expectations.Hmmm....
Simply commenting on the video, not on her career.
...Anyway, I did ask if she was tired. As someone else said, it could also be a warm down drill, who knows.
 Yea that's it, the 12th best female player in the world lacks intensity and heart.
Good God, Listen to yourselves. Are you guys serious? She is obviously working on a particular shot. This is called practice for a reason. You practice it because you have not yet accomplished it. As far as the missing the cans comment. There is not a player in the world who can hit those cans with any consistently. This is not archery.
Yeah I think it was a warmdown exercise since it was near the end of her practice
I just find it interesting how people come up with their own interpretation of things and speculate as to the reason why it does not meet their expectations.
To me this looks like a typical practice session. She does not look tired at all. She is working on a shot. Why would she need to look intense?
Lighten up, Francis. Every player is a little different with their intensity level in practice.I am 100% serious.
I said the drill has a lack of intensity.
The drill does lack in intensity.
I thought it might be a warm down drill at the end of a session.
Max confirmed this may be the case as it was near the end of her practice.
LeeD would beat her easily
Right because I don't see kids practicing with their private coaches every single day of the week.To you it looks like a typical practice session but to a knowledgeable tennis coach/player it is far from that.
You can't confirm a possibility."confirmed this may be the case".
You can't confirm a possibility.
I think you guys should get together and offer to coach Sloane. She is obviously lazy and lacking the intensity and heart of a champion. 19 and almost top 10. Those coaches are screwing her up! You and ForehandReverb should show them how it's done!
The drill itself is incapable of possessing intensity so you are referring to the participants.I said there was a lack of intensity in the drill. There is a lack of intensity in the drill
Yes, you are correct that Max confirmed that you may be correct. So you are guessing and Max is confirming that you are guessing. Great!I thought it might be a warm down drill or maybe at the end of a session. Max said he thinks I may be right as he said it was near the end of her session. I am correct again.
The drill itself is incapable of possessing intensity so you are referring to the participants.
Wrong there buddy. That drill can be done with intensity. I know you dont have a huge knowledge of the game but coaches and anyone with a good knowledge of tennis will know it can be done.
Thank you Ballinbob. You have restored my "confidants" in my fellow forumer..err...err .That's not what he meant at all...lol
That's not what he meant at all...lol
I interpreted what you said the only way it can be interpreted. There is no other way in which to take it. It is the participants who determine the intensity or lack there of. In other words you were indeed calling into question Sloan's lack of intensity from the beginning.I see, forgot he takes everything literally.
 You just insisted over and over that the drill and not Sloan lacked intensity and now you finally admit what you meant. Thank you.Still my point stands. She displays a serious lack of intensity in this drill.
