So who is going to be the next dominant player? Seriously. Someone we haven't heard of yet?

Sinner can't seem to beat Medvedev (LOL Wow). Consistency to the finish line continues to be an issue here. And every joint from Tail to dorsal fin seems to be breaking down on Shark Mouth Carlos this year every other tournament. Rune has sucked since his big win over Djoker in Paris.

No way. Are you telling me Carlos is more unlucky than the guy who was diagnosed with an incurable foot condition in 2005?

Nadal managed it all the way to last year when he had to get the shots to numb it I believe. The way Carlos is going, he won't make it to 23 without 25 surgeries

Other than Alcaraz and Rune there are several junior players as Luca Van Assche and Martin Landaluce that have potential down the road (too early to say dominant). The next two years still likely to be dominated by Djokovic and Alcaraz with Medvedev picking up a few. Nadal and Zverev have many question marks due to injury to assume they can win big titles again let alone dominate.

I think a player called Neo Georgeson is going to dominate for the next couple of years.

PS: That is his Anglicized name.

Alcaraz already is. His injuries are non issue. He is 19 and will take care of his body. Don't let this guy become another injury excuser. Hold him accountable. Loss is not same as injury.

Now that Arthur Fils has won "Newcomer of the Year" I wonder if he now gets jinxed. Only 1 out of the last 19 players to win that award has won a slam (Alcaraz). I hope this trend doesn't continue.

Why do you want 1 player to dominate the sport? I prefer when competition is more equal and champions vary from surface to surface and tournament to tournament. Competition is good for the game!

I still haven’t seen much of Fils play unfortunately. What are the hallmarks of his game?
Very solid fundamentals. None of that musetti/faa forehand ruud/rublev backhand nonsense.
Athletically gifted, he smoked every other next gen in the video below. I think he can still improve his serve(toss is too high imo) and movement.
Now the real issue with french players is not technical skill but clutchness. Is he a choker? If he is,then the french media will end his career. They're ruthless.
