Solinco Revolution vs RPM Blast

Hi guys,

I've been using RPM Blast for quite a while now but it's just too expensive to keep on buying as the strings feel dead after a few hours of play. I've heard mixed reviews on Solinco Revolution as some people say tension maintenance is great and some say it is poor.

I'm really just looking for a good quality poly with lots of spin that is not as expensive as, for example, lux strings. Can anyone recommend some good strings?

I had the same problem with blast, but I have found that the rpm team plays good much longer than the blast.

Tour bite strings play a lot better than revolution strings. Both I would not consider arm friendly.

Try volkl cyclone out. TW just put a review up reciently. Good strings for the money. Iontec Black is another string to look at (Mamba Tennis).

Why do people spread rumors. Why don't you try the Solinco Revolution first before you say it is stiff. I personally love the Solinco Revolution 1.20 strung at 48 pounds on a Babolat Star 5 stringer on a 98" head racquet. It has a nice pocketing feel and holds tension very well. Plays great for most of its life before breaking. I would estimate 10-12 hours.

This is compared to MSV Focus Hex 1.18, Kirschbaum Pro Line 2 1.20, Weiss Cannon Black 5 Edge 1.24.

No rumor bud they felt fairly stiff to me. Not Tour Bite stiff by any means. With that being said I strung it at 52 and that was a while back before I understood stringing below 50 with a copoly was a good thing.
