Finally after trying many times I got the camera to work fine. The first two video (hitting part 1 and part 2 )I’m trying the Youtek prestige pro…it was a very frustrating.
The third it’s only 5 minutes video because the battery died…I’m playing with my usual racquet MPMP.

Please suggest and critiques

You hit very well, as we expected.
One small critique...... you like to stand atop the baseline, in anticipation of weak short balls. This positioning works great for 3.5 -4.0 level tennis, but your peers are 4.5's, who often consistently hit deep, forcing you back. Then, when you hit with 5.0's and 5.5's, they consistently hit deep on almost every ball, so you're forced to backpedal and play defense on most of your groundies.
If you watch where better players stand, at least 95% stand about 3-5' behind their baseline for most groundies, practice or match play. This gives them time to step forwards to crush short balls, and still gives them time to counter deep balls with a full, fast swing in good balance.

Thank you LeeD.
you are right, and it's so simple to see it now that you pointed it out. I really never want to step more than 2feet behind the baseline as sort of my "role" but often times as in the video the deepest balls cause issue.
I will put your suggestion in practice right away!

OK, only watched the first vid, but I like the BH more than the FH. Quick feet too, bet this guy can play soccer.

How would he do against the guy who played the 6.5 girl?

Only watched a few minutes. Good, solid strokes. And while @LeeD's observation was accurate, it was nice to see someone hitting the ball on the rise. Too many post here saying there a 4.5 and they're getting fed balls with no pace and hitting it on the way down.

Come on. He'd maul that guy! Unless he got bored.

Very solid strokes and extremely sharp footwork. Good stuff.
How do you practice your movement?

Thanks West Coast Ace and psv255....nice to hear that!

psv255, I honestly don't have an answer. I'm sure that my soccer back ground helped my all thought I quit soccer over20 years ago.
Working out pretty well on your legs over the winter helps always.
Plus I'm still doing some soccer exercises for legs that probably help too.

Manolo, really nice hitting, effortless power and quick as a cat, love how well you protect your backhand to hit an inside out or inside in FH. Post a video playing some points if you can.

Technique-wise I would pay attention to your left arm when hitting the FH, sometimes it ends at your waist, and it should be near your chest, but I've tried to correct this and I find it really difficult, and your forehand is great anyways, so no real problem

thank you Broly4! Good eye about the left arm....I did not have a clue about it!
I will try to post some points but I don't know when because next week I'm going on vacation back home and I can't wait because I'm going to play on clay!

Tough for me to give opinions with the camera from the back. Can't see contact position, swingpath, etc. You get off balance when moving just a step or two to your forehand side sometimes reaching for the ball.
If you do 3 videos, you should have them from different angles.

NLBwell, yup I get off balanc and I know it but I don't know how ti fix it. Also sometime my FH gets jammed because I hit the ball too close to my body.
Next time I will get a different angles.
thank you
