Technifibre X-One Biphase strings.

Im looking at the Technifibre X-One Biphase 16 and the Technifibre X-One Biphase 16 Red. I know this is kinda a stupid question, but are they the same? Because im looking at the reviews and some people said that they were different, but my friend told me that they were exactly alike.

nah...the red has a coating on it that makes it play a little different. Just get the natural color, you will not be let down

How does Red play different ?? i didn't notice anything ? I did notice big difference in different gauges though. Do not get the 18 gauge, it is weak and goes dead very quickly. 17 Red kept its playability much longer. and i am not talking about breaking.

I've only tried the red so far and it was excellent. I've got some of the natural on order. I used the 16g and really liked the feel.

this is Multi NOT poly so i would expect it to have lots of feel and touch and more power. which has more feel ,, Red or Natural color ?

Haha tried X1 red and naturals before.

Natural is a little more lively to me. Both have great touch and feel. I attribute it more to the presence of dye in the polyurethane of the red that makes it a tad more muted.

BY RIGHT, there shouldnt be a difference - the only difference is the addition of dye in the red version. But in my opinion, i can feel a difference.

Does the X-One 16g eventually go dead?

I've been hitting with mine for 30 hours and I don't know if its me or the strings?

I have the same bad experience with my X-One 17g (natural color). It's way too stiff for me. I've found that some poly strings are softer. From my experience with some multi strings (Babolat XCel Premium, Boris Becker Sensor, Pro Supex Maxim Touch, and Technifibre X1 Biphase) , Babolat Xcel Premium - 1st generation is the best for my arm.

Did yours feel stiff when you first got them or after a few weeks?

My 16g felt really good for like 2 weeks and now it feels like it might be dead.:-?
