Tecnifibre Polyspin 16L?

Okay, I'm a 14 year old semi-serve and volleyer who has played for 3 years now. When I stay back at the baseline, I usually hit with a western forehand for enhanced topspin, and a flat backhand. My coach and other people have rated me anywhere from a 3.5 to a 4.0. Everyone tells me to play tournaments (I don't), but because of debate, I have debate tournaments every weekend. I have 30 minutes of tennis class each day. I have used Kirschbaum Super Smash 16 at 55 lbs in my Microgel Radical for about a month, and I've noticed CONSIDERABLE tension loss. Enough for my friends to tell me that my strings move way too much. I was looking for a cheap, but good poly/synthetic gut hybrid that could accomodate my needs. Then I see Tecnifibre Polyspin. It looks good based on its reviews, but Nick Bond's review worries me; he dislikes it. So the hybrids I was considering were:

Mains: Tecnifibre Polyspin 16L - 55 lbs
Crosses: Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex or Original (I'm not a huge fan of these strings, but I don't know of any other "economical" synthetic guts) 16/17 - 58 lbs

OR

Mains: Wilson Enduro Mono 16L - 55 lbs
Crosses: Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex or Original (I'm not a huge fan of these strings, but I don't know of any other "economical" synthetic guts) 16/17 - 58 lbs

No offense but both those strings suck. The poly that holds tension better than any other string is Pacific Poly Force and plays better than a lot of polys which is why I plan on switching to it. But if you want something a little cheaper that holds tension well try Topspin Cyberflash or Signum Pro Poly Plasma. Also other economical synthetic guts are Gosen Micro or Forten Sweet. Good luck on ur search!

well i dont know if this helps but i used t polyspin mains and t synthetic gut which is economical compared to prince one. for me in the uk i got it ay £16 from stringer which is very good, at tension of 55lbs. it lasted me roughly 20 hours ish, before synthetic gut snapped. but while it lasted it was quite a nice hybrid, with good control and spin. since then i have tried redcode/x1 which i prefer only because it offers better touch and a softer feel.

enduro and polyspin will lose tension really quickly. under 10 hours of hitting and they are long gone. only thing good about polyspin is the price.

Not terrible for the price if you restring constantly...

Get something that's a little bit better and you'll end up spending less total money and have better performance all around.

I actually like Poly Spin quite well. Gave it a go for the first time a short while ago and found it quite nice. I use it in the mains with Pro Supex Spiral Flex as the crosses. I get about 12-14 hours of good hitting out of it and then it's time to restring. I also regularly use Pro Red Code and Topspin Cyber Blue and like those both very well. I think they hold tension a little better but are also more expensive. The Spiral Flex is a great choice for hybrids as it is only about $3 a set and plays better than PSGD IMO.

IMO Tecnifibre Polyspin either feels great or completely crappy depending on the frame. I have tried it on numerous frames and on half of them I can't believe how good it feels, especially considering its price, on the other half it feels like junk. This is a love or hate string, no middle ground. It is definitely worth a try.

I could def. see this being the case. I have found this with a number or strings and frames over time. Some are just not great combo's together.
