Hi
I have been thinking about Tecnifibre TF40 315 recently but do not have access to a demo racket. I wanted to move to a 300g plus weight with 98 inch head. Anyone here has experience with the Technifibre racket and especially with the TF40?

Thanks.

I play with TF40 305 18x20. I like it, it's got a classic feel. A really good control racquet, definitely better from the baseline than at the net.

Have in mind that TF QC is not the best and you can get racquets that are far from the published spec.

This is true, although I bought 4 and they were all in spec (2 on FleaBay and 2 secondhand from a friend)

When spec is +/- 7g for static weight and +/- 7mm for balance, I'm pretty sure every racquet is on spec...

Which Tecnifibre would generare more power in 98"

Is 18x20 pattern a limiting factor on tf40 as far power is concerned?

Got the 16x19. Came at 310g and 285SW unstrung.
Overall, feel is absolutely fantastic but I just can't get the ball moving. Can be just me, but I find it way too under powered specially on serves. I played side by side with the Prince Tour 98, and overall, the Prince is much easier to play with.

I use this racket and love it. I moved from a Yonex VCore 95 and there was an adjustment period, but now it's settled in. Great on groundstrokes and provides excellent comfort and feel. I string it at 45lbs and it has enough pop on the ball for my swing.

Just ordered 2 of the 315 gr model..

Hope they come on spec as the SW is already so low... didn't want to use the matching service this time... well see if I was right ;)

I use the TF40 315 16 x 19 and love it. I love that it's a heavy-ish frame but very headlight so easily enough power but still very maneuverable.

For reference: Used Pure Strike 16x19, Blade 18x20, Head Radical 2021

Also live the grommet structure where the tie-off grommets are built flush against the frame therefore not getting damaged when stringing. Dunno why other manufacturers don't do that.

I also come from the Babolat PS 16x19 but found the frame a tad head heavy and the 330 SW was a bit too much for me to move... I was late too often.

I currently play with Yonwx VCore Pro and hop the TF 315 will be as comfortable but a bit more powerful

Why did you switch?

I started playing with the PS and the reason I switched was golfer's elbow. I knew the biggest culprit in my issues was/is my technique cuz I learned on my own w/o training but didn't wanna risk a long-term injury until I fixed my strokes.

Blade 18x20 was great in that regard. Super comfortable, great backhand, control etc but it was too head heavy, needed better timing and I wasn't (maybe still aren't) as good of a player for that stick.

I really didn't wanna like the Radical cuz of the color but it was great. Maybe a tad under-powered on my backhand but still..Yet alas, I experienced wrist pain after a while with it, especially against heavy hitters

Tried a lot of different rackets for testing in the meantime (over 30 x for sure) including Ezone, Vcore Pro, Vcore98 etc but ended up with TF40 315. Still very happy with it.

It feel more comfortable than the stiffness rating would indicate and there's no feature of it that I don't like
