Tennis academy for the winter and coming back to hs?

Would it be a smart idea to go to a tennis academy for the winter during school and come back to play the spring high school season?
Would it make a huge difference to a 3.5 player?

no comment about whether it's a good idea or not but i don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. You mean over winter break? cause missing school is prob not the best idea. Does your team have "mandatory" camp or tryouts that you might be missing? That might play a factor as well...have fun!

No during the whole winter like take classes at the academy or however it goes and my team doesnt have tryouts or anything im already on it
