Tennis Channel/Star Sports Commentators

I have been watching STAR Sports for the PLO so far which you can download on TVUNETWORKS.com and watch all the matches from Indian Wells. Anyways, Leif Shiras, Justin Gimelstob, and the other commentators on there are FANTASTIC. It makes me depressed to watch those idiots on ESPN.. Pat McEnroe and that idiot who does College Basketball and then acts like he knows tennis. These are real commentators on Tennis Channel/Star Sports and I am really impressed with their analysis of a match. They talk very little of what one is wearing and a lot about working the ball according to neutral zone/offensive zone/defensive zones and adding more spin to Youzhny's shots to make him a better player..etc...anyways what does everyone else think?

I agree PMac is awful but if by "idiot that does College Basketball" you mean Chris Fowler? I give Fowler an "A".

star sports have amazing commentators. I love it when that one guy says that a player "has it all to do" when they are down.

I like Katrina Adams and Chanda Rubin. The Macs are too biased. Carillo and Shriver are too cruel. Shiras and Mackay are too dull. Corina M. too pompous.

Can't stand the commentators on Fox Sports. Tennis Masters TV have the best commentators.

I'm watching FSN and they are commentating Nadal, Tsonga right now. This commentary is probably the worst I've ever seen, Gimblestob is insanely annoying ugh.

I agree, I'm not sure which commentator, Gimelstob or random FOX guy but one of them just said that Tsonga was a better player than Nadal despite their rankings. I have never heard a commentator make such a statement and it shows his ignorance as he has likely never seen Nadal on clay.

I just got my lazy butt off the couch to say the same type of thing, and it takes a lot to pull me off the couch during a match =P

I cannot believe how annoying and simply bad Gimelstob is. Regarding Tsonga being better than Nadal, he said it will probably be a little controversial. Yo, Gimel, there is no controversy; that was simply an ingnorant thing to say. I'm not a huge Nadal fan, and before this I had a reasonably positive opinion of Gimelstob, having seen him play up close in a challenger and liking his attitude.

Furthermore, can Gimelstob stop stroking Tsonga so much? Nadal and Tsonga are 1-1. The first set was tight. He also said that Tsonga matched Nadal's foot speed LOL.
