I'll be going to Paris probably for Feb and maybe March. Can anyone recommend a good indoor venue in Paris? Preferably one where I don't have to be a member or can get a short term membership.

Cheers, Orig

Try posting in the travel section because there is a guy who travels to France quite often and I have noticed he responds to threads in that section. I can't remember his user name - Mloutch or something like that. He may know something.

Thanks Julieta, I'll try that. I used to play there a bit but it was summer then and I just used to play in the park so I'm clueless now :)

Hopefully someone will help you. If not, you could go to the FFT office while you are there. They would probably know.

why indoors when you can play in the Luxembourg Gardens in the city center...it's as nice as it gets!

Yeah I have played there in the summer before, I like it a lot. When it's raining though and cold I prefer indoors :).. That and probably I will mostly be playing at night and if I remember correctly I don't think they have lights?

why was my OP-friendly-helpful post pulled?....TOTALLY user-friendly, no "competitor" reference (er, in Paris?). Man oh man Sp.. (well, you know who you are)... you do seem to take that prejudicial lying-in-wait-for-your-selected-few approach to unnecessary extremes at times....sigh

Orig, try Club Forest Hill. There's a number of "Club Forest Hill" scattered around France and one (with a couple of nice red clay indoor courts) in the La Defense (business) district of Paris.

Thanks mate, noticed you posted in the other thread also. Created two on the advice of Julieta as wasn't sure where to put this one. Cheers, Orig
