I wish they had the square-ish pro staff butt caps instead of the rounded blade ones.
I agree, I like those square ps butt caps better.

Looks pretty gorgeous to me even with bumper tape and black finishing tape. Goes well with black grommets I think. Its a great looking racquet but you ruined it with your bumper guard tape and the black grip finishing tape
If these weren't too heavy for me I would definitely get them! And most importantly, certainly helps that it looks gorgeous too

Looks like a Pure Strike. It's still looks good but not very original.
Edit: nevermind, I just saw you can custom order the colors.
Actually no, they don't look anything alike. I have to agree with NuBas here. I have two PS17 as well and besides the white color, they have not much similar. I have hit with themside by side and no one has ever confused PS17 with Six.One 95 or vice versa.Well it comes in multiple color choices (almost custom-marketing says custom) and yes that does look like a pure strike with the white/grey/orange paint scheme that was actually painted and not puked on. *cough Head Radical*cough
Not sure (I could be wrong) but I think I read somewhere that TEAM was a different mold altogether. Will try to dig that up.There's a TEAM version that is lighter if you can find it.
@FedLIKEnot ;I am not sure myself but tie off seems a little high up. Not sure it matter much if at all in play ability.

So since it's now officially out (being sold online - likely on TW soon as that's where you all should be buying your gear!) ..... I can update this post. My favorite design while at Wilson: Pro Staff RF85 Limited Edition.
My first 'real' racquet was a PS85 way back when, so creating a design that pays tribute to elements from that racquet, and combines it with elements of the new RF97 was a real treat! I love how it turned out. Velvet paint with gloss 3&9, subtle design details, and the double lines of the original PS85 but in a greyscale treatment. I've had one in my bag for months and months but have only played with it a few times when not too many people were around.

These are mine:
And if you want to get technical, Six.One 95 launched months before PS17 so yes, the Wilsons are pretty original. Launch date for Wilson Six.One 95 was June 1st and for the newer Pure Strike was Sep 8th. If anything, it is the PS17 that is not very 'original' if you want to see things that way.
Personally, I think both the new Strikes and Six.One 95 are beautiful sticks. Definitely agree with you on new Radical 'Spiderman' paintjob. Very eww.
There is a new series called the Clash which is entirely new and the ultra 95 is just the burn 95 in ultra paint. Unfortunately not the six.one mould.....Wait so the new racquet coming out is the Clash or Ultra 95 six one mould?

I think they should do a 'Time Warp' series. Start with the original Pro Staff Classic 6.1 si (what was that...1994?), then, 6 years later, the Hyper Pro Staff 6.1, then 3 years later the nSix-One, and so on... Essentially, roll back the clock 25 years, then start it rolling forward just as the original lines did. Maybe call it the 'WayBack Machine' line...Instead of introducing new series, they should introduce new price series like making more of the 6.1 2017 and bringing back the PS 90 then keeping both those lines under 150 dollars like they did with the reissue at 129.

They should also do the original lines, meaning 16x18, 18x20, and the stretch/+ versions.

To be honest, I don't remember exactly. I think it was 50/46. I will double check with my stringer and get back to you.Have two of those and looking for a tension for gut/poly. Play full poly TBHB7 at 47-49lbs. That looks like gut poly, what tension?

That’s exactly what I was thinking verbatim. Looks like Kei got a new paint job.
