I was checking out the WTA site.. This years top 8 have to be one of the most all around best looking group ive seen in a while.

Did Venus withdraw or something? Why isn't she in the year-end tourney if she's ranked 8? Did Hantuchova overtake her recently or something?

Venus withdrew because of lingering problems, her place was given to Sharapova. But back to the topic, I think it's an alright looking field, and the black and white pictures help a lot.
