These are the strings I've tried...can you suggest some more please?

I like experimenting with different strings and I was hoping you could suggest some strings for me to try. This is my setup:

Aeropro Drive (standard)
PSGD 16ga @ 63lbs. (strung on my axis pro crank)
I am a 3.5 player who plays mostly from the baseline and occasionally comes in for the put away volley or smash.
I serve exclusively with topsin (I have not learned to hit the flat or slice with success yet.)
I like to hit my forehand with a lot of topspin--so I'm always looking for a string set-up that will aide with topsin--but my one-handed BH is flatter though.

These are strings I've tried in the past (but most of these were with the Diablo MP):

Babolat Tonic+--Loved this string, except for the smell on a humid day, but way to expensive. It also breaks pretty quick.
NXT-- I liked this string a lot but lost tension or broke very quickly and it gets expensive.
NRG2-- I liked it but not as much as NXT.
x-1 biph-- Didn't like this one. Too mushy and lacked feel for the ball.
Gosen sheep-- Didn't like this one. Too stiff.
PSGD--This is sort of the middle of the road string for me and I always keep coming back to it because it feels good and not very expensive.
Yonex 850--didn't like it. No feel.
Lux Big Banger--Hated it. No feel and very hard on the elbow. (it was a very long time ago though and my technique may have been more at fault)
Fibergel Spin--I liked this one and plan to experiment more with it.
Rip Perfect Control--Currently playing with it but not enough to know if I like it or not :)

ALL OF THESE STRINGS I'VE TRIED IN 16 OR 17 GA.

Any suggestions you could make would be greatly appreciated? I would like each string set to be under $15 please.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

What I suggest, and I do this myself is: Babolat Pro Hurricane (non tour) Mains, and Yonex Tournament 50 crosses. It's quite soft and provides a good amount of spin.

Topspin Cyberflash 17 is a good string to try. ALso, Gamma Synthetic Gut w/Wearguard is very comparable, if not better, then the Prince Synthetic gut w/Duraflex. Read the reviews on Tennis Warehouse for more info then what I'm giving to you.

My son plays with the aeropro drive+ and his set up is pro hurricane tour 16 @ 54lbs in mains & conquest 16 @ 57 lbs. and he loves it

Man I could echo almost everything you said . . .

I'm back to PSGD. I'm crossing it with NRG2 for a bit more power, and comfort. This feels a lot like ALU x Gut, but one notch down on the spin meter, one notch up on the power meter, and 10 notches up on the comfort meter.

Comes out to be about $8 a set.

I'm using the 17ga (silver) in my singles sticks and 18ga (yellow) in my doubles sticks.

Since you appear to enjoy the playability of gut-like strings best, I would suggest staying in the multifilament family rather than moving to a copoly setup. Two suggestions.

1. LaserFibre Phenom
2. Signum Pro Fiber High Tec EXP

if you want something a bit crisper, try the laserf. pro stock too.......
