Tie off hole for two-piece on RF 97 Auto?

I have been using 8T to tie off mains and 6T to tie off last cross. This works fine, but when I cut out the strings, it make it a hassle to remove the string from these two grommets because the knots are blocking the strings from coming through. I have to destroy the knot to get them out.

Just wondering if other are using a different tie off. This page from Wilson says you can tie off at 11T, but the grommet at this hole is quite small and doesn't seem like it's meant to be a tie off.

Once you've cut the strings, the knot from the final cross will be free at the other end. Get this sticking out outside the frame, and you can slide this section of string and its knot along the anchor string without further cutting. I find it easier to push the loose end from the outside of the frame, rather than trying to grasp and pull the knot itself - and it's one of the few times that having a stiff cross string actually makes the task easier!

I have always used 11T. Just open the grommet up a few times gently using a sharp awl. I have no problems stringing two runs of stiff poly up to 1.32mm through the grommet. Sometimes I use String Snot to move things along but only rarely.

Know what you mean, I use 6t, 8t tie offs on this racquet,,
I use the needle nose plyers to pull one of the strings from the knot (I forget if its the cross or main),, but once I do, the other one can be pulled by hand

For the RF97, I tie off mains at 8T and crosses at 9T and 9H. Following what is done by Priority One for Roger!

@HunterST the RF97A is not the only racket with this problem it happens all the time. If you don’t want to use your side cutters to cut the connecting string between the two grommets or cut the knot off you could leave the tail a little longer for the cross (or main) tie off. Then tuck the tail into the string bed so it do not stick out. When removing the string cut the string coming out of the knot then grab the long tail with your pliers and pull the knot off.

I use the designed holes for all rackets. You can widen any hole but I choose not to do that. I think it will cause the grommet to fail faster.
