Tips for leading the Pure Storm LTD

Hello everyone! I'm using the Babolat Pure Storm LTD bumblebee-black-and-yellow-2008 version. I was playing fine with the racquet in its stock form, but today I'd a hard time to return my friend who is using the volkl pro c10 black-2008 version. My backhand, slice, and especially forehand were being push-back, and it was very frustrating. I believe it is time for me to start putting lead on my racquet. I want to ask you guys, especially ones who had lead the PSL, about some tips to lead my racquet such as how much weight should I put on, where, and etc. I'm 5'4 guy, and I'm satisfy with the racquet's swing-weight. I want the racquet to be more solid and more stable. I've no experience whatsoever with leading, so please help me!

I own the psl black and yellow too. I always put lead at 12. It seems to help add weight to my shots. It does change the swing weight a bit. It sounds like you want stability so you should put some at 3 and 9. This will help your racquet not get pushed around so much.

I would put two 5 in strips on each side at 3 & 9 and try that out and then layer more if needed. Only thing is this brought total weight to 12.3 oz

I'm sorry but what do you mean by saying "two 5 in strips?" Do you mean total 5 grams on 3 and another 5 grams on 9??!?!

I actually have mine leaded up a little bit differently. If you don't mind a heavier spec here's what I did.

6g at noon, divided into 2 or 3, 2 inch strips.
8, 4 inch strips divided between 3 and 9. 4, 4 inch strip per side, adding a fair amount of weight.
10g of blue tac in the buttcap

That's my last playing spec with them. Before that I was just at 6g at noon, but it was super polarized and really whipped through too quickly haha.

I mean 5inch strips. I use gamma .25 wide strips and each inch weighs .25grams so 5inches would be 1.25 grams. 4 strips would weigh 5grams total (two strips on each side of the frame

It's not specific to your racket.
I like using 1/4" lead tape, adding two 6" strips inside the frame, but not over the grommet, for a total of 12" at the "10-2" positions, but since 6" takes up a lot of "time", it's really 11-8 on one side.
