One point? I tought he won the tie break 7-4, and he was 6-1 at one point, the match was much more one sided than some people are willing to recognize, the only reason there was tension was because we know novak and we were always specting him to come back but he just played better one set and even then he almost lost it, nadal didnt let him do anything reallyOutplayed, outlasted? One point difference and they would have gone to a fifth set
remember All the posts how Novak was done after RG20? Good times
Because we're tennis fans.the real question
why the hell do we care about the achievements of millionares that do not impact our lives and will never know of us
Yeah, most of us are emotionally invested. That makes the sport more enjoyable or painful, depending on the outcome of certain matches.Because we're tennis fans.
Novak had two set points in the fourth setOne point? True, i forgot about thatNovak had two set points in the fourth set
Wimby and the USO have never been places where Novak “slaughtered” Nadal.
The problem is this would work only if they are going to face each other. If they are in opposite halves of the draw, it may very well happen that someone will take them out. The field is truly catching up and one off day (which is really not unlikely at this advanced age) can throw all plans.I never said that. But things are different now and everyone knows Nadal is currently no match for him outside of clay.
Lmao, the only thing your guy won in 2021 was a beatdown at RG.Loss to Zverev at Olympics from a set and a break up
Loss to Medvedev in USO Final, straight set beatdown
Kicked out of Australia before AO
Loss to Nadal at RG
Just an astonishing 11 months of failure for Novak
I’m trying to!True, i forgot about that
I guess I don’t know about that.I never said that. But things are different now and everyone knows Nadal is currently no match for him outside of clay.
he's half-trolling, I've seen him do this before lolDon’t exaggerate. lol
He just turned 19 and already has 2 Masters 1000. Novak had 0 at his age.Carlos, the eternal promise
You can find comfort in the fact that Nadal may retire after RG 2022 or simply skip the rest of 2022 due to his foot Müller syndrome. So Nadal fans will have even more hypotheticals. "What if Nadal had a normal foot and had played WB 2022, USO 2022, RG 2023, RG 2024, RG 2025, RG 2026, etc.").Wimbledon is a must win. I do think he can do it, but a slip up there and imo the Slam race is over.
what pisses me off is that tennis wise it is oh so obviously not over. I agree with you guys there. What angers me beyond anything else is that one of the parties has decided that he is going to miss 2 Slams per year, forever giving us eternal blue balls and a “hypothetical” ending which is so frustrating. At least give us some more head to head battles to decide it. Not like this. Not like this.
If Rafa runs away with the Slam race there will always be a what if on AO 22/23, USO 22 and perhaps even more in the future. And that will not be fair to any of Rafa or Novak or Roger.
Novak’s vaccine position is legitimately the dumbest decision in tennis history by a large, large distance. At least in my view as a fan. I suppose he is entitled to do whatever he wants. But I’m so, so angry that he’s decided to let the Slam race end on a whimper like this.
Get off this forum.I’m more than happy with everything Novak achieved. I’m cool with the loss as he simply lost to the better player and a god on that surface.
Djokovic fans have got Wimbledon and othe events to look forward to. As long as Novak is still happy playing and we get to see a bit more of him that’s all that matters.
He’s already achieved so much and his legacy secure as one of the best. Anything else is a bonus.
Rafa will likely the slam record king and be viewed the greatest but djoko has did so much and a lot more than any of us thought was possible 10-11 years ago.

Exactly. There's no need to feel bad after one of them loses.the real question

Haha GOAT post!Get off this forum.
And take your normal, healthy, constructive, thoughtful, sane, wise, intelligent, mature, respectful, culture-redeeming, worthy-of-emulating crap somewhere else, you psycho.
I feel Wimbledon is his last chance . The problem I feel he has is that despite all the hype about his mental strength it is his mentality that seems to let him down in the most pressure moments and with the Wimbledon crowd British media and probably wimbledon officials all likely pretty hostile to him I question whether he will be able to survive the pressure cooker especially as this year there is real threats from the Next Gen on grass. Korda FAA Zverev and Alcaraz will be formidable obstacles for anyone.I know your pain after a heart breaking loss.
Mostly cause of Novak. Lol.
But he’s 35 (now young for a big 3 to still win slams!) and still getting in slam match shape after missing many matches this year.
He’s the favorite by far at Wimby and could get 21 in a few weeks.
Nadal may still have a let down after the last 2 matches.
A lot could happen.
Djokovic is still the favorite to win the slam race - I think.
If Fed won 3 slams after turning 35, was #1 at 36, and in 2019 had MPs at Wimby and was only stopped by Novak, at almost 38 years old - just think what Novak can do.
He’s arguably in better physical shape than Fed and Nadal at the same age.
He’s actually got plenty of time.
I tell you, it‘s posters like him that ruin it for the rest of usGet off this forum.

I know, right???I tell you, it‘s posters like him that ruin it for the rest of us
Biggest Novak Fan on TTWI think he’s done, and I’m not even a Novak fan.
Just totally outplayed, outlasted, and outfought yesterday. Plus how is he going to do this again next year? He’ll be 36 for the next French Open and have the same issue of no match play coming in. Like, how do you see him somehow being better next year?
If he was vaccinated or if COVID didn’t exist I’d agree with you. But with the bans from BOTH USO and AO it’s like he’s thrown away any chance.
LOLNadal was clearly the fitter player which was an absolute shock to see.
Really it’s not Rafa he needs to worry about, it’s the fact that this time next year Carlos will have another year of physical development and experience, and I really don’t see the kid losing much at all…
Ah you missed quite a bit of my predictions lol.LOL
Given that were speaking in context of RG
