Top 5 ITF vs Top 5 College

With College tennis becoming such a lightning rod for discussing relating being (or not being) a viable pathway to professional tennis, I got to thinking what the numbers would be if we compared data for the Top 5 ITF players and the top 5 college players (say over the last 5-7 years) to see who has had more success on the tour. If a certain group has had more success, how much? I'm a proponent for college tennis and my guess is the two would be somewhat comparable (although outside of select players, I'm not basing it on any real data). What do you guys think?

College tennis quality has increased recently and players from college are doing better and better in the pros. The new experimental scoring has the potential to completely ruin this however.
