Is the Wimbledon towel truly the best Quality towels ? or other slam towels better quality like french open towels, US open towels or Australian open towels ? Does anyone here have all 4 towels to compare ?

I only have the US Open towel. But just ordered this years French and will compare once I have it. I can say 2019's USO towel was better than the IW towel I have from the same year.Is the Wimbledon towel truly the best Quality towels ? or other slam towels better quality like french open towels, US open towels or Australian open towels ? Does anyone here have all 4 towels to compare ?

Wimbledon’s player towel was the most coveted towel in the 80s and 90s. Pre-internet e-commerce, because to get one, you had to visit the tournament.
I do cherish my Wimbledon ‘91 towel.
I don’t recall when the other slams started to offer player towels, undoubtably when they discovered what a revenue stream it was for Wimbledon. Across the board, they are all near the same quality thick towel.

which one are you ordering ?? i think i will order one as well just cause prestige is so high with thses items. I wonder if Tennis warehouse will carry these as well ??

I went with the classic green and purple. Not sure if TW will carry it or not. I guess I should have checked first. It was pricey $40EU.

They sent me one for coming in second in the poster design contest in 2014. I was there in 2017 but didn't pick up another one since mine is still in really good shape. I'm loving the new orange and light blue version but shipping is prohibitive to the states - almost as much as the towel. I've had two US Open towels and the Wimbledon towel is larger and better quality IMO - it's softer.

WOW,, WOW,, i just got it from All england club. Everything is 1st class. Even the Box had little tennis balls cut outs. and Towel comes in the duffle bag with All england club emblem. and small hand towel i bought at sale price was so well folded and packaged,, i am afraid to open it. and the Quality of the towel is also 1st class, super soft velvety feeling cotton. Now the Thickness was good in comparison with very very expensive towel you can buy from Bed bath and beyond. But this is Wimbledon towel,, One and only.
I am afraid to actually use it on the court with matches. That was the original intent but this is such high quality that i am afraid to just use it up like that............

This Wimbledon towel is so flffy and so luxurious that i am afraid to use it now.. I might just hang it on the wall for prosperity
