i mentioned her briefly in another thread and I know many posters don’t follow WTA but after watching 14 days of matches Tsurenko put in one of the gutsiest performances I’ve seen.
I watched players that couldn’t continue in the heat/humidity and players that while they finished the match they couldn’t handle the heat .
Tsurenko looked to me like she was moments from giving up but she hung on and won. She said after it was the worst she’s ever felt on court.

IMO she wasn’t acting.
