Hi mods, is it acceptable to discuss moderation policies?
Over the past few years I've seen a couple of tournament threads get deleted. I have no doubt that those threads included infuriating posts by infuriating posters, but it's a shame to have otherwise fun threads disappear. By deleting an entire thread, TTW punishes all posters and thread visitors for a few (?) inappropriate posts.
It would be great if thread deletion could be minimized (or maybe it already is?). Is it possible in XenForo to place certain users on a one-day or one-week time-out? (please don't test this on me..) If so, perhaps that could be a solution, especially on active tournament threads.
