A couple months ago someone on TT indicated Adidas would be re-releasing the Ubersonic 2’s this summer. Is this happening?

Bc it is a different fit to the u2. I wear u2 and wanted to get u3, fits me awfully. The foot bed is totally different

Loved the 2s, the 3s didn't fit me at all. Lots of people were frustrated with this release due to completely changing the fit of the shoe.

I think that Adidas should keep both Ü2 and Ü3 in production. Ü2 are for medium wide to narrow foot, while Ü3 are for wide feet, especially at the front. I can see why Adidas changed it, after so many players complained that they need wider shoes. In fact, before the release of the SCB and Ü3 I was regularly reading about people complaining that there are no wide enough shoes for them on the market. Now people are complaining that the shoes have been changed. Keep both on the market to have everyone happy.

I agree, you have to have both fits. I have a narrow foot and had always worn adidas tennis shoes until the U3 and the SCB forced me to look elsewhere as they were too loose and sloppy for me. I would love to see a narrower version of the SCB as I liked the 2017 barricade boost shoes, loved the heel cushioning. 2018 version was too wide.. tough to just have one fit as someone is going to be left out.

Nice job Adidas! Great to keep everyone happy. Ubersonic 2 is way better for narrow feet, Ubersonic 3 for wide feet which is me^^

How's cushioning on these 2's? I've tried once the old Feathers and got shin splints. The sole looks rather slim overall.
