I think raining aces needs to try harder. I did a bracket at the French Open and then never checked what happened. Hopefully we have some kind of blow-by-blow scoring or some thing. We can do this for many more slams. Pro match results is really really dead these days. I’m amazed at the that my U.S. Open thread is getting little action and I don’t even know that there’s a women’s US open thread. Baby steps.

And you nailed it on Isner. Infact that might have been Johnson’s 6th straight against Isner. He’d been winning breakers to amass that streak, but Isner took the first two today. Luckily Johnson (who often overhits under pressure) played a nice final breaker. I’m sure quite a few had Isner playing to his seed so well done.
