Video: My Forehand

Even against the wall, hit every shot with a purpose. You need to have specific spots you are trying to hit and drills you are doing. Random hitting won't help all that much (some hand-eye and conditioning is about it). Strokes are generally OK, but not a good angle to analyze them - can't tell if you are hitting late/early, how you are rotating wrt the ball, etc.

Thanks for your quick reply=]
Could you suggest me some hitting drills against the wall?
Btw i'll try to post another video of a different angle.

Like iv said in a few other posts, cant get a full idea of how u hit when its against a wall. Just from what i saw tho u need to load ur shoulders way more and actually rotate, ur arming the ball way to much in the vid. Ur core, hips, and legs are not doing much in ur shots (again thats part of rotation.)
4got try to stay grounded, u were jumping quite a bit. Hope this helps a little.

I like the composition of the video clip. Cool lighting, background, etc.

Slow down the pace, try to hit 25 in a row. And move your feet. They look sluggish. (I only watched first 20 seconds or so...)

Hello, i have made a video on my forehand hitting against the wall. I would like some advice from you guys so as to improve. Please feel free to critique.:)

I think you have a very nice Modern Fh going there. Make sure you try to keep that contact front out front where you come "up and across" the ball. You did this very well most of the time, but you could see times where you caught it late and this led to pushing balls with little spin that appeared to get away from you. I also liked how when you had to step forward with the left foot for a good contact point, that you didn't shift your weight out to the front foot, but instead mostly found a nice balanced platform to pivot on.

Agree, that lighting was cool.

Haha it was actually the first time to use this camera which i newly bought to record my stroke for anlaysis. The quality is quite satisfactory as you guys suggested:)

Thank you very much for your detailed advice, and your complement, that's MOTIVATIVE!!!:)
I have noticed that me contact point is sometimes late and i'm working on my timing.
Btw, many had told me that i always jump while hitting, thus missing the contact point, but i somehow would do it natually:(Can someone please tell me how to NOT jump while moving?

Practicing on a wall should be slower and controlled. This is the time you want to work on your technique and not how hard you hit the ball. It is also the time to work on your conditioning by trying to hit a lot of balls without stop.

Your technique is okay. However, various parts of it were inconsistent.

The following were things you need to make more consistent and you need to concentrate on it in your practice.

1. Shoulder turn: Sometimes it was good and sometimes not enough.

2. Non-dominant arm: Sometimes it went back with the racquet and sometimes it didn't. Learn to stretch out the non-dominant arm to help control overrotation that you on occasion did. Fold it back into the body when you go through the ball.

3. knee bend: Keep those knees bent on your backhand too.

4. Extend through the ball, don't slap it. The non-dominant arm will help you rotate through the ball if you use it better. It wasn't bad but it was a bit inconsistent.

When you learn to make the same old boring swing, consistently, your ability to hit on time will improve. Make sure you work on your footwork too.

You are very welcome.

Nothing wrong with lifting (jumping), and it can be a good thing. The timing is important.

Some will try to get you focused on extension thru the ball, but your "up and across" the ball swing is better to focus on. And also note you can't lift into your shot if you keep your legs bent, so realize that the legs don't STAY bent, but extend and lift into the shot. You are really working in the right direction with this, so beware of false info.
