What cross string is slick like Gamma Glide, but cheaper?

Cost will be subjective based on your location and where you shop but these come to mind as slick round polys (I'm assume you want a round poly as its for a cross string):
Yonex Poly Tour Fire
Tecnifibre Pro Red Code Wax (now discontinued but some stock is still about)
Wilson Revolve
Grapplesnake Irukandji

Not as slippery as the above but still works well and cheap:
Yonex Poly Tour Pro
Signum Pro Poly Plasma

If none of those take your fancy, use the TWU string performance database and filter by String-to-String Friction (COF).

Thanks. Good info. Now I hear about stringing Glide crosses 5% to 10% higher than the mains. Ever tried, say Revolve, or Poly Tour Fire with crosses similarly tighter than mains? What about extremes, like on a Babolat Pure Aero with recommended string tension of 50-59 pounds and going 50 on mains and 59 on crosses, which is a full 18% difference?

I've only gone with tighter mains at a 2lb differential with full poly or 4lb differential with a gut/poly hybrid so I can't really comment on that tighter crosses. The only thing I would say is that your launch angle will decrease with tighter crosses, so depending on your racket/play style that could be an issue

IIRC nothing will be as soft though.
This string wasn't a hit, which had a lot to do with the crazy pricing.

Haven't tried it though so it's more anecdotal...

Gamma Glide is expensive and not that good. Bab SpiralTek, POSG and a lot of other SGs have better measured and real world lower string-to-string COF. The most slippery string I have encountered is Zyex manually pre stretched from Ashaway. It will outlast any polyester string.
