What do you wear underneath your shorts?

I have been just wearing my brief. But I see more people wearing these compression shorts that are look like mini boxer briefs. I do not know if anyone wears jock strips these days.

I just want to make a plea to all the other guys out there...please wear something!! There's nothing more annoying than a guy wearing nothing under a pair of wet white tennis shorts. Have some decency!

Just standard sports briefs. Couldnt wear boxers to run about in and jock straps are arguably the most uncomfortable thing to wear, apart from my latex thong.

For sports, nowadays always mesh compression-type shorts. Using some Nike Hypercool and Under Armor mesh series.

For everyday wear can't beat cotton.

Never seen any dude going commando during tennis, that's foul.

I find this jock strap thing funny. In 80s movies, people used to wear jock straps in gym class. I have never heard of such a thing, growing up in the 90s. Do people wear jock straps just to keep their junk in place?

The only time I have ever worn a jock strap in my life was to hold a protective cup for a contact sport or martial arts.

I've said I've never "seen' anything untoward, going by Ramon's post on this thread it sounds like it would be unfortunately obvious. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though. It must be uncomfortable too, unless one is of the micro variety.

Beyond commando

I remove my skin so that my my muscles and tendons can be exposed.

My white shorts get bloody but that's part of the pain.

After the match, I sew on some pig skin.

The HyperCool series or the regular ones? I have 3 pairs I got for $23 apiece down from $30 and they seem to be holding up well but I wear and wash/dry each only once per week.

One thing is for sure, buy a size up in the Nikes for tennis use. I realize they are compression shorts but they fit very small.

I would never wear shorts for tennis without something underneath.

I think both are too expensive.
Sizing : I bought those hypercool series 30 euros. I wear size M on shorts, so I took size M too for the hypercools: too big!!!
I never wash them with any product, only water (as advised by nike )
