What is ONE thing about your favorite player that you genuinely don’t like?

All too often, the various fan bases unite around their guy and go to war with others, trashing Their guys.

In the process, some tend to treat their favorite player like a god and never utter a critical remark.

Let’s set that aside and be honest. Can you think of ONE thing about your favorite player that you don’t like?

Possible examples:
Fed’s man bun from early years
Nadal’s predictability in interviews
Nole’s Pepe BS

Nadal: wanting the indoor season ending ATP Finals to rotate the playing surface, 2 year ranking system, and lastly when he over spins the ball so it drops short/not using the DTL line fearhand enough.

I'm nothing, but fair and consistent with him

He can do away with that celebration. Not exactly something I am a fan of personally.

During the match, Novak can sometimes beat himself up and get grumpy and moody with just about everything. It is such a waste of energy, and frustrating to see, especially when I know what he is capable of doing if he gets his head straight.

Federer in interviews when he gets a little annoyed at someone questioning him and he starts always starting a response with "LOOK...". Like he is telling them fact.

" LOOK, I do not ask stupid questions like that"

My short list

Sam Querrey: always looks like he's smirking at some joke in his head.

Federer:
1:35 That time he got all sassy and interrupted the umpire saying "Don't tell me to be quiet, when I want to talk, I'll talk." That always sounded like something a spoiled child would say.

Nadal: I have nothing to say about nad since he's not even one of my favorite players...

Dustin Brown: When he gets moody he always looses. be it the crowd moving or a bad call. If his mental status is jarred, he then looses 100% of the time.

Baghdatis: Love him to death but that man has fallen over more times than my grandma with vertigo.

I do wish Rafa would lose all or at least some of his pre-serve rituals. If you look at some of his much older matches, he pretty much just got up there and served!

What do you think about how he always walks up to the T in the center of the baseline before heading back to his seat at the change of ends, even when he is walking in the opposite direction of his chair to do it? Always makes me smile.

Sometimes I wish he would generally tone down with how frequently he shows annoyance after a lost point. But the thing is, if he is totally calm throughout the entire match that he is losing, it's far more likely that he won't come back.

Ball bouncing doesn't bother me. He used to be way worse than now.

the fact that he makes me pull my hair out while i watch him fail to convert his 100th bp. but forreal he can be a soreloser....he's gotten better but some of those older press conferences especially back in 2010/2011 losses to berdych/novak unncessary. also this is more of a personal gripe outside of tennis but sometimes federer does his best not to rock the boat and while he can be brutally honest at times, sometimes he relies on trying to please everybody not comment when he has a lot of influence..and i wish he didn't do that. most recent example was the gimelstob nonsense...i wish he spoke up/commented more than just a vague we should move on, gimelstob was right to step down (when it shouldn;t have come down to that). ffs stan said more on twitter.

They have played the sport of clay tennis

Something that is irrelevant in the worlds important nations and detracts from his play in his main sport of tennis

Heh, that sort of has escaped me, really; haven’t ever truly made note of it. I will now though, haha!

Rafa - pre serve rituals really. The only other thing is he tends to hit his forehands with too much top spin. I wish he would flatten them out more. It has improved the last couple of years but a bit more.

Tsitsipas - wish he'd really not be so obsessive about winning that people can question his gamesmanship. His racket skills are far better than that.

Djokovic - As much as I dislike Kyrgios, he was right about Novak’s obsession with being liked. He tries too hard. He should just let it happen naturally, but instead, a lot of times, it seems like he decides in the moment: "Okay, I’m now gonna do something nice to get the crowd’s appeal", seems calculating, don’t know why. His complaining about the wind at this year’s RG has also bothered me. And sometimes he avoids responding questions during interviews by talking about something else. Oh, and remember that "Describe player XY with one word" video series by ATP? His answer "Respect" to so many guys was really annoying, that’s not how you describe a person.

Nadal - Lots of things, people have probably already listed them all out before me in this thread.

Federer - Literally can’t think of a single thing this man does wrong in my eyes. He’s literally the perfect tennis player and role model.

Second that!

Huge Fed fan here. It is a bit awkward that my favourite player is proclaimed GOAT despite Djoker and Rafa clearly being better players.

Could it be that ATP rigged the results?

After Federer does much more for tennis popularity and sales, then an arrogant guy from a country that did the shameful war in former Yugoslavia...
