What makes a racquet maneuverable?

Hi, I am new on the board, and I have a question that I cannot answer:
What makes a racquet maneuverable?
HeadLight balance, low Swingweight, etc...

Because, I have a LM Radical and an old (Hyper) Pro Staff 7.1 (not the ZONE but it has the same specs), and even though the Wilson is heavier, it feels really more maneuverable.

(Please excuse me for my English, I am French...)

Swingweight, total weight, balance point and head size all enter into this, IMO. Maneuverability is not measureable, AFAIK, so it's subjective. I think it's agreed by most that a racquet with a relatively low swingweight(let's say 320 or less) with a head light balance and with a head size of 100 sq. in. or smaller is going to be pretty maneuverable. BTW, your English is fine and I am sure it's much better than most of our French. :) And welcome aboard!

Thanks a lot for your answer and your compliments.
I go to Florida on Saturday so I have to train a little bit, don't you think so?

Yeah, it all depends if your strong. If your strong, you can still maneuver a heavy racquet easily. But if your weak you'll have to do with a lighter racquet with low swingweight.

I agree...Florida is sweltering this time of year. Play tennis early in the morning and then take it easy on the beach the rest of the day :) .

I don't know if I'll have enough time, as I go to Nick Bolletieri's Academy...
First time I go to Florida, and wonderful holidays are coming.
Starting at 6:45 in the morning, but not a problem, because I love playin' and I am aware of how lucky I am...

Weight, balance, headsize and beam width all effect the racket manuevability. One reason the wilson prostaff 6.0 was soo popular because with the squared straight beams and classic shape, it really cut thru the air during swings, vero aerodynamic !
