What plays best at low tensions

I am presently playing with 105 sq in racquets. I normally use Babolat VS Touch 16g or Klip Legend 16g, depending on which string I use I string my racquets anywhere between midrange and 2 lbs above midrange. I will be purchasing new racquets with a headsize of 98-100 sq in. I am planning to string the new racquets with gut (VS/Klip) at the lowest recommended tension range, for more power. What I would like to know is, what plays best at low tensions 16g or 17g strings. Thank you for all your help

17 is the perfect gauge to me especially in gut.I love 18 g but they break to fast unless you can afford it.I think the thinner gauges always play better overall.
