What rating would player C be?

Player A: UTR 2 / USTA 2.9 (high 3.0)
Player B: UTR 4 / USTA 3.3 (mid 3.5)

B beats A
6-0 6-1

C beats B
by the same score

Sample size is totally invalid for a host of reasons,
but if you either had to guess a rating
or jump into a volcano,
what would your guess be ?

Who knows. It is UTR on adults, and at those UTRs you are talking about women not men.
It it a P or a full rating?
Was everyone playing their best that particular day? Or was someone injured.
Do you have more than one match to go on?

if you are player C, and you really really want to know what your rating is, play league, play rated matches and wait until end of November like the rest of us :p

Obviously one match is not exactly a large sample size. Could be B was having a bad day, or C was having an exceptionally good day.
But assuming the match is representative, a 0 & 1 score for me indicates a full level difference, so I would guess C is USTA 3.8 (4.0).
However C could actually be much better and just dropped a game out of boredom / working on his B game / mercy.

giving up only 1 game doesn't really tell you much. It could be that player C kept his foot on the gas the whole time but player B was good enough to win that game (and maybe some others were close as well) or player C could be so much better than B that he got bored, or didn't want to make the other guy feel too bad.

My guess would be anywhere from a really high 3.5 (like 3.49) to mid 4.0.
