whats the best string to mix with big banger except natural gut, since i cant afford the natural gut?

Do you want to use ALU in the mains and use a multi to soften it up, or use a multi in the mains and use ALU to stiffen it up ?

I like a good solid core synthetic like Prince Syngut w/duraflex. I don't use it, but many of the guys here like Gosen strings. Perhaps they will chime in with their suggestions.

use gut, you'll have that explosive feel when the ball strikes the string, it'll soften up the stringbed considerably, and it's tension maintainance will make up for the poly's quick tension loss(somewhat), just make sure to string the poly in the mains, tis all

the closest thiing to gut might be Wilson NXT . I've tried it out, felt GREAT, but the price is too much for my taste.
